Factory visit
The primary objective of a plant tour is to learn and develop profound understanding of the products. It provides an opportunity to observe how the work is actually done, the rigor, the skill and the automation involved in creating products
Select a potential traditional product
With greater understanding of the products DT Analysts can evaluate each product for opportunities of making them smarter. Products where highest gains can be achieved by adding smartness are selected. Process involves input from the factory, market analysis and innovation.
Sign MOU for shared risk / shared reward
After the product is selected a Memorandum of Understanding is signed with the factory. Factory will provide support during the process by making key resources available.
Start the product incubation process
A team is form to start the incubation phase. This Phase includes Design Research, UX Design and Technology Architecture. As an output working prototypes are created and are shared with the factory.
